We review six distinct types of machine learning models for financial fraud detection: decision trees, support vector machines, Bayesian belief networks, deep learning with restricted Boltzmann machines (RBM), ensembles of classifiers, and deep learning with convolutional neural networks (CNNs). Previous work has focused on criminal analogies and financial fraud as similar problems sharing many features; we argue that more general problems can provide broader insight into why and how machine learning approaches are successful and can guide the design of financial fraud detection models in general. We analyze the construction and output of each model type and show how they can provide three distinct components: decision thresholds, feature weighting, and prediction functions that relate model output to the fraud risk of an account. We summarize the models by focusing on their more successful components, and highlight the value of deeper research into models that incorporate individual features of the fraud process and broader aspects of financial risk to provide a fuller understanding of how and why these techniques work.Q: Is it possible to register extension custom command globally using ThinkFinity.Core.ApplicationConfiguration.GetExtensions(string) Is it possible to register extension custom command globally using ThinkFinity.Core.ApplicationConfiguration.GetExtensions(string) For example: public class DayViewController : ViewController { public DayViewController(IApplicationConfiguration config) : base(config) { } private void
