The WIGs are a growing Women's Institute based in Colchester, Essex, the WI Girls. We're out to celebrate what it means to be a woman in the modern world.

With around 90 members from a mixture of ages (everyone welcome, from 18 to 118!) and backgrounds, we pride ourselves on being an all-encompassing group of women who are driven by a common interest - a desire to learn new things, discover new interests and share our experiences with like-minded people. It's about being ourselves, while learning and growing from our adventures together. 

 

Our main meetings are on the first Wednesday of the month at The Tollgate Hall, Villa Road, Colchester. We invite a range of speakers to come and talk at our meetings. Why not take a look at our Events page to see what we've got coming up.
